The Naked Sage Tossa Tote.
This beautiful tote bag was hand crafted from hand-woven, natural jute tapestries made in Northern India.
The base, trim and straps are made from local buffalo leather that has been cured in a traditional tannery.
Because of the hand-woven nature of these tapestries, each side of this bag is unique but complimentary.
You are also the only one who will own this bag. No two are alike, making them all the more special.
The Tossa Tote gets it's name from the type of jute fibre they're made from: Corchorus Olitorious or commonly called Tossa Jute.
Jute is a 100% natural fibre that is biodegradable.
The leather wears beautifully with time.
*The first three photos are of the two sides of the bag. The lifestyle photos are for proportions (this is not the same bag).
- Material: hand-woven natural jute & buffalo leather.
- Lining: Black/Blue cotton canvas.
- Width: 43cm
- Length: 33cm
- Length With Traps: 65cm
- Base Depth: 13cm

- Pockets: one inner pocket with sipper. And the entire tote zips shut.
I first discovered Jute and Leather work back in 2010. I was in a tiny town in the blazing desert of Rajasthan and fell in love with the colours and textures.
After ten years of traveling to Northern India and seeing all of the phenomenal fibre arts, I'm thrilled to bring you the gorgeous Tossa Tote.
